It's always a challenge when you work with other artists. 'Harsohena' is a lovely singer with a very soulful voice & 'Jeewan' is Guitarist, he sings as well but they don't do it commercially. Music was that string that embedded their lives together. Each step was so intricately planned by God. From casually being Harsohena's guitar accompanist in college to moving with her to chennai in a music school. We are so grateful that we got the opportunity to film this story.

It's a celebration when two souls come together in nuptial union and words fall short when describing the deep endearing quality of this bond. Our darling couple, Shruti and Jai are the perfect personification of such eternal love. It's not often that a couple will reach out to you to fix their wedding date according to your availability but that is exactly what happened in this beautiful case. With the couple being close friends with us, we were more than excited to come onboard.

The unique journey started at the very onset with a destination like the beautiful vineyards of Stellenbosch, South Africa. This location sets the wedding apart from most other Indian destination weddings. The pre-wedding shoot was an experience of a lifetime in itself. With temperatures close to freezing point, the daring couple oozed passion at a windy beach in Cape Town.

Mira & Ravine got married in Bangkok, it was magical 4 days affair of full of entertainment, performances, music, fun, rituals & emotions. We witnessed the insane use of technology in this wedding, especially in Ravine’s exceptional solo dance performance on sangeet with the video synchronisation & Mira’s fairy-tale entry on stage. Can you imagine a ‘Batmobile’ in baraat ? Yes, this happened in this wedding, Ravine’s superhero entry on Batmobile was the showstopper.

Nakul and Malvika got married in Park Hyatt, Dubai this year in February. Nakul knows us from past few years, he bumped into us at almost every sindhi wedding we shot in last couple of years. DOTDUSK was his first choice for his wedding. We had a wonderful time shooting their wedding.

Their Story: Besides each other, the one thing M&N are most passionate about is food. That’s also how they hit it off. What was supposed to be a quick meal at Marina Social, Dubai turned out to be a long evening of banter, uninhibited laughter, a long drive, some ice cream & complete transparency. She found him honest and endearing and he felt like someone was knocking on his heart.

After a few months and endless Skype calls later Malvika was visiting Nakul & his family when he pulled out a scarf from his jacket and blindfolded her. She opened her eyes (and heart) to a truly magical experience: Strings of fairy lights, red roses, confetti, candles & a big board that read ‘Will You Marry Me?’ followed by a fleeting moment that took her breath away.'

If there was ever an award for the perfect proposal, Nakul would come out on top!

After capturing Romina’s cousins wedding in Portugal one year back, the family brought us back – this time to the beautiful Canary Islands, Tenerife. Their story- Jiten & Romina met for the first time on the 12th of December, 2010 in Madrid, Spain. The very first moment they saw each other, both felt a special connection almost impossible to describe in words. It was inevitable, they couldn't just stay as friends for very long. After many years of dating, they decided to tie the knot last year. They love the fact that they are constantly learning from each other. Together, they feel complete and bring out the best in each other.

Neha & Pavv both are from Dubai and decided to get married in Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah resort in Muscat, Oman. When they contacted and told us they are getting married in Muscat, We were like “wow!”. The location is perfect combination of dessert, mountains and ocean. We consider ourselves privileged that Neha & Pavv chosen DotDusk to be a part of their celebrations.
From the bride-
Pavv and I have known each other for over a decade (my cousin and maid of honor introduced us). We never paid much attention to each other until 3 years ago when we met at a party and Pavv called me up the next day to ask me out on a dinner date. I didn’t want to go initially but Pavv had coincidentally booked my favorite Italian restaurant and I decided to go mostly just for the food. 20 mins into our dinner however, I knew we were on to something here. 10 days later I recall one of my close friends asking me how things were going and I very casually said to her, “All I can say is, I’m going to marry Pawan some day”. Three years later here we are. We love to travel the world together, laugh together, read together, work out together. In short, we are best friends and when we’re around each other everything is infinitely more fun (even wedding photo-shoots: D).
